CAST | China: High-Channel Count Vibration and Modal Testing of Spacecraft
The client
The China Academy of Space Technology (CAST) is a major spacecraft development and production facility in China. It performs simulation and acceptance tests for spacecraft and satellites on large-scale test equipment.
The solution
m+p VibControl and m+p Analyzer software are used for vibration control, data acquisition, post-processing, and modal testing. The m+p VibRunner hardware provides 456 channels of analog input and eight channels of analog output. The system includes two racks that accommodate 20 m+p VibRunner modules, as well as two servers used for throughput recording and data sample processing.
The result
The test engineers are delighted with the excellent stability and reliability of m+p international’s high-end test equipment for vibration and modal testing. As a result, CAST now operates several m+p VibControl and m+p Analyzer systems, totaling over 1,000 input channels.
